Beamer, Robert 'Bob' 82, 10/12/1927 09/18/2010
Robert "Bob" L. Beamer of Silver Lake, Wash., formerly of Portland, slipped away peace-fully Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, surrounded by his wife and children.
Bob retired 21 years ago from Freightliner, after 32 years of service. He was an avid Nascar enthusiast.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Joan; sons, Randy, Michael, Mark, and Brad; and daughter, Cindy, all whom reside in the Portland/Vancouver area. From Bob's former marriage, he is survived by his son, Mike. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbra, who was sadly lost at age 12.
Bob and his wife, Joan, were snowbirds residing in Mesa, Ariz., in the winter months. He will be truly missed. According to Bob's wishes, there will be no service.
