On December 12, 2015, the saints and angels in Heaven were celebrating as Wanda Lou Parsons Fuller entered her Heavenly Reward.

Born December 31, 1944 in Sweetwater, TX, she was the beloved daughter of Robert Victor and Lula Mae (Byrum) Parsons.

They relocated to Abilene, TX, and attended Immanuel Baptist Church for many years.

A 1963 graduate of Abilene High School, she always had a love of learning and especially reading.

In 1964 she married the love of her life, Jerry D. Fuller and together they had 49 wonderful years until his death in 2013. They raised three beautiful daughters who gave them eight blessings in the form of five grandsons and three granddaughters.

She loved music, art and writing and was a talented pianist. She wrote songs, poetry and short stories and even dabbled in oil paintings. She sang in the church choir and often played the organ and piano for church services.

Known for her kind and generous spirit, she touched many lives as she was an active volunteer in her church. Her love of helping others extended far beyond the church and she and Jerry often opened their hearts to young people and have many who considered them an adopted Mom and Dad.

She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

She was a hard worker and throughout her career worked as a secretary for the United Way, owned her own businesses and for the last 17 years worked as the office manager for Lytle Land and Cattle Company and Sharon's Barbeque where she was well liked and respected for her dedication and abilities.
