Mr. Tony Michael Griffin, 59, of N. Wilkesboro passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Griffin was born in Wilkes County to the late Joe Todd and Ella Ruth Johnson Griffin on Sunday, December 9, 1956.
Tony enjoyed fishing and attending racing events. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by: brothers, James Alvin Griffin and Joe Todd Griffin, Jr. and sisters, Patricia Jean Griffin and Dorothy June Griffin.
Those left to carry on his memory include: sisters, Bonnie Sue Townsend of Ferguson and Linda Jane Pendergrass of Sevierville, TN and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Griffin will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel, 2109 Moravian Falls Road, Moravian Falls, NC 28654. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 1795 Oak Grove Church Road, Millers Creek, NC. Reverend David Keys will officiate.
The family will receive friends 2:00 – 2:45 PM prior to the service.
