Obituary for Bertrand Paul Prevost, jr.

Kernersville – Mr. Bertrand Paul Prevost, Jr., age 74, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at Hospice of High Point. He was born November 13, 1941 to the late Bertraud Paul, Sr. and Maggie Mae Eccles Prevost. Mr. Prevost was a native of LA, and a current resident of NC. All who knew Bert will remember his smile, kindness, and his sense of humor. He was preceded in death by a son, Nathon, and both Eccles and Prevost grandparents.

Surviving are; his loving companion, Bobbie Shelton, two sons, Paul, and Clinton (Angela) Prevost, two boys that were like sons to him, Dennis and Dale Bowyer, eight grandchildren, one sister, Wanda Prevost, and a favorite Aunt, Susan Eccles of Franklinton, Louisiana, and four cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at a later date. Burial will follow in Mt. Gur cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of High Point at 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262, or to an animal shelter of donor’s choice.
