A Celebration of Life service for Carolyn M. Savoie, 61, of Lexington, will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 5 PM at the Palmetto Health Amphitheater located in Irmo Community Park, 7505 Eastview Drive, Irmo, SC 29063. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Carolyn went home to be with the Lord December 8th, 2015. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Earl B. McPherson and Lillie Lois McPherson.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 30 years; Kenneth Savoie Sr.; sons, Tony Holloway, Kenneth Savoie Jr.; daughters, Miranda Jordan, Samantha Savoie; ten grandchildren: Anthony, James, Jesse, Meagan, Jeremy, Alex, Briana, Shannon, Savannah, Mason; six great-grandchildren: Brayden, Chloe, Mason, Madison, Bentley and Caroline. Carolyn was also a beloved sister to 13 brothers and sisters. Carolyn was a cosmetologist at Famous Hair in Lexington for 19 years. Carolyn leaves behind a legacy built on love and faith; she will be forever missed by all who have been lucky enough to know her.

The family asks that those who wish to send flowers send live green plants in honor of Carolyn’s love of gardening. Plants may be sent to Thompson Funeral Home in Lexington. Memorials may be made to The Lymphoma and Leukemia Society, 107 Westpark Blvd., # 150, Columbia, SC 29210
