Karen Joyce Crozier, age 70, of Uniontown, Pa. passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, December 12, 2015 in her home.
She was born on Tuesday, August 14, 1945 in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles
Edward Crozier and Mary (Vitez) Crozier
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving nephew, Cody James Nypaver.
Karen was a member of the BPOE No. 370 Elks in Uniontown.
She was 1963 graduate of the Uniontown Area High School.
She retired as the Office Manager of the Teamsters Local 491.
She loved trips to the beach, loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, and most of all she loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her loving and devoted brothers Charles "Butch" Crozier and wife Sandi of Smithfield, Pa., and Gary Crozier and wife Patti of Uniontown, Pa.; nieces and nephews: Jennifer Grimplin and husband Tom, Janice Higman and husband Mark, Lisa Nypaver and husband Myron, Tricia Crozier, Tiffany Dunlevy, and Mark Carr; great-nieces and great-nephews: Joshua Nypaver, Bailee Nypaver, Caleigh Dunlevy, Scarlett Zehala, Christopher Jones, and Maxx Thomas; great-great-nephew, Riley Nypaver; other relatives and many friends.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 3 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday morning from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of Service.
Interment will follow in Mt. Macrina Cemetery
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Vickie and the entire staff at Amedisys Hospice and well as her special caretaker, Jacque Lippart, who stayed with Karen during the final months of her life.
