2008 obituary. SCARBOROUGH -- Howard Elvin Lombard, 71, of Scarborough, died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born on Dec. 11, 1936, in Madison, the son of Arthur K. and Mary Ann M. (Lamore) Lombard Sr., and attended the Cathedral Grammar School. Howard worked for Sebago Moc for 43 years, retiring at the age of 65. He enjoyed bowling, and participated in leagues at Colonial Bowling in Westbrook. Howard enjoyed spending time with family, eating out, old cars and car shows, window shopping, and outdoor flea markets. Howard was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Barbara G. (Edwards) Lombard; a sister, Dolores Foster, and two brothers, Leo Lombard and Arthur K. Lombard Jr. Visiting hours will be 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, at the Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, at the Chapel, followed by interment at Forest City Cemetery in South Portland.
