Curtis R. Boisfontaine, age 63 years and a senior partner with Sessions & Fishman, died of a heart attack Sunday at his home in Metairie.

Mr. Boisfontaine was a graduate of Isadore Newman School and Tulane University School of Law. He was past president of the Louisiana State Bar Association, past president of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and had served on the Executive Committee of the New Orleans Bar Association. Mr. Boisfontaine was a member of the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association, a member of the Louisiana State, American and Fifth Circuit Bar associations and the International Association of Defense Counsel.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Reynaud Boisfontaine; three daughters, Susanne Boisfontaine Edwards, Eugenie Boisfontaine Schmidt and Stephanie Boisfontaine; two sons, Curtis Rich Boisfontaine Jr. of Dallas and Arthur Maxwell Boisfontaine; two sisters, Janet Boisfontaine Renaudin of Clarksdale, Miss., and Elizabeth Boisfontaine King; and four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held today at noon at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum at Metairie Cemetery.
