Capt. Billy Ray Pointer was born October 2, 1943 in Lebanon, Mo., son of Elster Pointer and Dorothy Wolfe Pointer Hill. He was a retired 26 year veteran of the US Navy in the Naval Supply Corps.
Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years; two daughters, Cindy Peachey (John) and Lisa Burns (Andrew); one brother, Bob Pointer (Wanda); sister, Betty Harris (Edward); sister-in-law, Faye Pointer; three grandchildren, Alex, Megan, Kate. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Ted Pointer.
