Jeanette passed away peacefully on December 10, 2015, at the young age of 84, surrounded by her family at Richard Murphy Hospice House, Hammond, LA. She was born on December 15, 1930, a native of Robert, LA and a resident of Loranger, LA, who was a retired school teacher with Tangipahoa Parish School System. Jeanette was also a member of Creekside Baptist Church.
Jeanette leaves behind her daughters, Sue Price and husband Tommy, Sandy Morse and husband Pete; son, James Bailey; granddaughters, Kristie Faust and husband Jeremiah, Katy Miley and husband Wade, Erica Newell and husband Garrett; grandsons, Tommy Price and fiancé Heather, David and Chris Bailey; great-grandchildren, Miah and Noah Faust; as well as her sister, Yvonne Wharton and husband Eddie.
Preceding Jeanette in death were her beloved husband; James “J.D.” Bailey; parents, O’Neille and Claire Poche; and her brother, John Poche.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, Friday, December 11, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, December 12, 2015, from 8 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Joiner Cemetery in Loranger, LA.
