Tammy Lynn Necessary Barnett, 48, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2015. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Tammy loved people, socializing, and taking trips with the family.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, J.B. White; and step-mother, Laureen Necessary.
Tammy is survived by her ex-husband, Charles Barnett; daughter, Kenya Barnett; son, Charlie Barnett; one grandchild, Shaun Barnett; mother, Betty White; father, Johnny Necessary; sister, Tina Brown; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow with Pastor David Salley officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Barnett, Nick Woodard, Rocky Woodard, Mike Lockwood, Eric Necessary, David Overbay, Ricky Howe, and Shane Boggs.
