We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2015, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life of 85 years on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at Raintree Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Toza Nelson; their children Clay Lawrence Nelson and wife, Kim, Lucretia Gayle Creed and husband, Kevin, and Bryant Alan Jones and wife, Jamie; grandchildren, Chad Nelson and his fiancé Christy Zarate, Brent Nelson and wife, Jessica, Lauren Flinn and husband, Brian, Nicholas Creed and wife, Elyssa, Leslie Ellis and husband, Michael, Bradley, Tabatha, Chase, and Baylee Jones, Dylan and Tarrent Adams, and Makayla Ponce; great-grandchildren, Greyson Creed, Oliver Nelson, and Kynsly Flinn.
He is also survived by his siblings, Darrell Nelson and wife, Kathy and Jane Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmie Nelson.
