Mrs. E. H. Green of Orchard Grove Dies

End Came following Stroke Suffered Last Wednesday Night. Funeral Tomorrow at Dripping Springs. (From Tuesday's Daily Quill)

 Mrs. Martha Emmaline Green, 44, wife of E.H. Green of the Orchard Grove community, nine miles south of West Plains, died at her home there yesterday morning at 5 o'clock following a brief illness.  She suffered a stroke last Wednesday from which she never rallied.

 Besides her husband she is survived by three sons and two daughters Ben and Ivan Green of Los Angeles, Calif.: Bud, Marie, and Helen, of the family home.  She also is survived by three brothers, Jack Hall of St. Louis; James Hall of Springfield, Mo.; Melvin Hall of West Plains and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Coble of West Plains and Mrs. Rea Goss, living in Illinois.

Mrs. Green, who was born at Pottersville in Howell County, September 2,1900, was married in West Plains, Easter Sunday, 23 years ago and had continued to make her home here since.

 Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at Dripping Springs Church with the Rev. Frank Hall, a relative, in charge.    Burial also will be at Dripping Springs. 

The body is at the Robertson Funeral Home on West Main Street where it will remain until time for the funeral services.
