Mr. Steven Craig Frye, age 71 of Theodore, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at Providence Hospital in Mobile. Mr. Frye was born in Monroe County and had lived in Uriah for many years. He had been a resident of Theodore for the past 6 years. He worked with Vanity Fair as a fabric cutter for 25 years. Upon moving to Mobile County, he worked in maintenance departments. Mr. Frye is preceded in death by his parents, George Daniel Frye and Tensie Mae Dunn Frye.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Conway Frye of Theodore; four sons, Steven Randall Frye and wife Tracey of Texas, Richard "Ricky" Frye and wife Becky of Excel, Johnathan Conway and wife Niki of Uriah, and Anthony Craig Frye of Theodore; two daughters, Michelle Durden and husband Dave of Excel and Renae Frye of Excel; three brothers, Wilson Frye and wife Karen of Rocky Hill, Eric Frye and wife Joyce of New Mexico and Floyd Frye and wife Myrtice of Franklin; two sisters, Marilyn Elizabeth Smith of Rocky Hill and Mary Briarton and husband Joe of Round Rock, TX; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dunn Cemetery in Rocky Hill. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 16th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
