Mrs. Kathryn M. Cramer Marchand, 75, of 309 Butterfield Ave., widow of Ernest C. Marchand, died this morning in her sleep at the House of the Good Samaritan. Burial will be in North Watertown Cemetery. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bernard M. (Lois I.) Sawyer, with whom she had lived the last five years, and Mrs. Francis G. (Sally M.) Hunt, a sister, Mrs. Letha N. Barber, five brothers, Everett K. Cramer, Erwin J. Cramer, Mark and Dale Cramer, Syracuse; Leslie Cramer, New Smyrna Beach. Fla. Four sisters who predeceased her are; Mrs. Doris Richmire, Mrs. Hazel Bowen, Mrs. Irma Cramer and Mrs Carla Hastings. Mrs. Marchand was born Jan. 8, 1896 in the Town of Canton, one of 11 children of Frank D. and Nellie Lincoln Cramer. She attended Canton schools and moved with her family to Watertown before her marriage. She was married June 10. 1922 in Watertown to Ernest Marchand, a native of Canada, who had worked in Detroit, Mich., before coming to Watertown. He died June 15 1960.
