Mr Pacheco was employed as a polisher at Imperial Knife Company for 38 years before retiring. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and served in the European-African Theater and in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. Mr. Pacheco was on the first wave in the Invasion of Normandy and was also in Sasbo, Japan.
He was the beloved father of Sandra Nelson, with whom he resided and is survived by 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Jospeh Pacheco, Jr., and Anotne Pacheco; brother of the late Antone Pacheco, Angelina Alves, Gloria Phillips, Viriginia Feriera and Loretta Feriera.
His funeral and burial with military honors is Private at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
