Laura Ellen Perry, 97, of Shelbyville passed away October 31, 2015 at St. Johns Hospital, Springfield. She was born June 9, 1918 in Shelbyville the daughter of Harry and Annabelle (Forbes) Barr. On July, 4, 1935 she and Glenn W. Perry were united in marriage and he passed away January 11, 1996. Laura was a homemaker. Surviving are grandson Daniel Perry of Shelbyville; granddaughter Sara McKenzie Perry of Shelbyville and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; son Larry Perry; four brothers Dan, William, Jess and Joseph Barr; four sisters Edith Fleming, Margaret Halbrook, Mable Stukey and Mary Perry. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 1-2 p.m. at Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Shelbyville followed by graveside services at 2 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Ray officiating.
