Robert "Robbie" Drew Sperry, Jr. age 28, of Crestview, Florida passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 due to a tragic car accident.
He was born on September 19, 1987 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Robbie grew up with his parents and sister, spending most of his childhood in Florida and Louisiana. Robbie had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone. He was often silly and always wanted to make people laugh. He loved going out on the water and going fishing with his family. Throughout his childhood, Robbie played baseball, basketball and football with his friends. He also enjoyed playing all kinds of games with his family, especially poker with his Grandpa Tom.
Robbie graduated from Crestview High School in 2005 and decided to serve with the US Navy that fall, following in the footsteps of his parents, grandfathers and several other relatives. He proudly served for six years earning several medals and ribbons. Robbie was attending college to pursue a degree in Marie Mechanics.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Tommy Lynn Spaulding Sr.; and grandmother, Kathryn Ann Sperry.
