Janice Rutledge Pitts, 50, passed away December 11, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 1pm-3pm Sunday at Harmony Baptist Church. Services will be 3pm Sunday at Harmony Baptist Church with burial at Bethel Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Pitts was preceded in death by a son, Kristopher Pitts (#137375275).
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Len Pitts, Jr.; son, Garry Pitts of Hazlehurst; daughters, Samantha Ashley (Jarrett) of Hazlehurst and Jessica Pitts of Hazlehurst; parents, Harry Rutledge, Sr. and Janet Vardaman Rutledge of Hazlehurst; brother, Harry Rutledge of Hazlehurst; sisters, Diana Forrest, Judy Rutledge, and Nancy Hartley all of Hazlehurst; and grandchildren, Austin Pitts and Chloe Partheymuller.
