Roxa was a daughter of Samuel Cornell (1784-1872) and Hannah Clemons (1791-1836). She was born in the village of Preston, Waterloo Twp; in 1830.

She married Levi Weaver on April 24, 1849. There marriage produced 6 children.

2. Samuel Weaver 1852-1888.
3. Phoebe Ann Weaver (Clemens) 1854-
4. Martha Jane Weaver (Corton) 1856-1925.
5. Harriet Vestella Weaver (Clemens) 1860-1889.
