Mrs. Ora Josephine Brown, age 81, of Obion, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Ethridge House in Union City.

She was born Sunday, December 10, 1933, the daughter of the late Lester and Ruby Miller Barnett.

She was an employee of the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Union City and a member of the Hornbeak Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters; Deborah Tucker of Madison, TN, Dorothy Barnes of Union City and Lisa Barham of Dyersburg, two sons; David Brown of Dyersburg and Jimmy Brown of Union City, ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Brown on January 23, 2002, two sisters; Mary Lou Puckett and Betty Fussell and three brothers; Kenneth Barnett, Grady Barnett and Charles Wayne "Doc" Barnett.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Friday, December 11 at Cryer Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shelby Treece, Deon Barnes, Dalton Barnes, Randy Barnes, Fred Tucker and James Eric Brown. Friends may call at Cryer Funeral Home from 12 Noon until the hour of service at 2 PM.
