Ms. Vicki Michelle Copeland passed away Tuesday at Emory.
She was born April 2, 1965 to Mrs. Nina Copeland and the late James Copeland.
She joined the Mt. Olive Knotts Baptist Church at an early age Vicki was a Class of 1984 graduate of Troup County High School.
She was employed by Troup County School System – Ault Academy (Twin Cedars) as a Paraprofessional. She was employed for four years, until she departed this earthly life.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Nina Copeland; five sisters, Martha Jean Carter, Irene Gates, Nina Ruth (Mark) Hairston, Fannie Mae Copeland, and Marian D. Copeland; five brothers, David B. (Maxine) Copeland, Jerome (Elizabeth) Copeland, Curtis (Carrie) Copeland, Michael D. Copeland, Travis Copeland; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday at 11:00 at New Community Church, South Davis Road. Rev. Chalton Askew will officiate.
Burial will follow at Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
