Dora Alice Moore of Bloomington passed away at her residence on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the age of 83.

Dora was born in Monticello, Kentucky on Saturday, July 9, 1932. She was the daughter of Willie and Nancy (Kidd) Phillips. Dora loved to tend to her gardens and flowers enjoying the different types of flowers she grew. She adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Spending time with her family was what she enjoyed most of all.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Moore and his wife, Joyce Moore; daughter Jeanie Lawson; brothers, Vinton, Carlis, and Eugene Phillips; and sisters, Gertie Sherrill and Lyda Griffin.

Dora is survived by her three children, Rita James (Jerrell), Glenda Moore, and Wayne Moore (Margaret) all of Bloomington; grandchildren, Cheryl Robertson (Shane), Sheri Hamm, Kerrie Hamm, Jason Moore, Lyndsey Swan, and Kirstin Moore; great-grandchildren, Grant Routen, Dylan Moore, Mallory Robertson, and Kaden Moore; siblings, Alta Wilson of Bloomington, Lucille Bond (David) of Belmont, Judy Collette (John) of Lakeland, FL, Homer Phillips (Delores) of Springville, and Ozie Phillips (Mary Sue) Monticello, Ky and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Brother Bruce Bond officiating. Burial is to follow at West Springville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
