He is survived by his children Susan Jo (Hintze), Denise Diane (Martin), and Bernard James Jr. (Carroll), grandchildren Samuel Hintze (Adora), Natalie Linemeyer (Jason), Bonnie Tanamor (Jason), Benjamin Martin (Bree), David Martin (Olivia), Michael Martin (Amanda), Bernard James Carroll lll (Jay Carroll), Zachary Carroll, and Matthew Carroll, great grandchildren Brianna Baker, Ethan, Lily & Steven Hintze, David Martin lll, Elizabeth Martin, Samuel Martin, Charlotte Martin, Georgianna Martin, Ambrielle Martin, and Cohen Martin, pets Rocky, Max, and Miss Kitty, and 20 grandpets.
Bernard served in the Air Force, loved the Broncos and the Rockies, loved his family and pets. He loved to listen to his kids singing karaoke, and to have a beer or drink with his kids. He also loved watching his grandkids sporting events.
