Reba Moore passed away on December 8, 2015, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 93. She had a long, happy and fulfilled life with many chapters – and she was loved by all who knew her. From an earlier and less complicated time she was a true matriarch dedicated to keeping her family strong, devoted to one another and intact. Her values and love survive her and are evidenced by the closeness of the relationships she leaves behind. No matter what situations were presented in her life she was always a devoted wife, a loving and understanding mother and a proud Granny who adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She will be missed tremendously here on earth but in death she is reunited with the love of her life, Lawrence, her husband of almost 75 years.
Reba is survived by: her sons, Jerry Moore and Steve Moore; five grandchildren, Sheryl Andarakes, Kristy Faus, Bart Moore, Gillian Moore and Peyton Moore; eight great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, 10:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Interment will follow.
