Raymundo Fregoso Rodriguez, 91, of Indio, CA, passed away on November 14, 2015. Raymundo Rodriguez was born December 23, 1923 to Maria de Jesus Fregoso and Margarito Rodriguez in El Rincon de Mirandilla, Jalisco, Mexico. He married Maria Engracia Guitron, also of Jalisco, and together had eleven children. Raymundo and Maria lived in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico and in 1972 the family moved to the Coachella Valley. Raymundo Rodriguez was "El Jefe" of the family. He was also known as "Reyitos" by his friends and co-workers. He worked as a police officer, farm worker, and landscaper to support his family. He instilled the value of hard work and education into all of his children. Raymundo had a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor; his contagious laughter and humorous stories will forever live in our hearts. Raymundo Rodriguez loved his family and is survived by his ten children, Miguel (Juanita) Rodriguez of La Quinta, CA, Conrado (Olivia) Rodriguez of Mexicali, Mx, Raymundo (Hilda) Rodriguez of San Diego, CA, Jose de Jesus (Arcelia) Rodriguez of Indio, CA, Francisco (Armida) Rodriguez of Mexicali, Mx, Maria (Mario) Inzunza of Indio, CA, Pedro (Patricia) Rodriguez of Indio, CA, Luis (Lydia) Rodriguez of Coachella, Ca, Veronica (Shawn) Media of Wailuku, HI, and Hector (Zully) Rodriguez of Indio, CA; 31 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is now in heaven with his beloved wife Maria, his son Antonio Cesar, his parents, and siblings. Visitation will begin on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Rosary from 6 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.) at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Coachella, CA. Mass services will be on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Indio, CA. Interment will follow service.
