Mr. Teamon Agee, age 95, of New Middleton, TN, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at his home.
Mr. Teamon was born May 30, 1920, in New Middleton, TN, the Son of the late Eddie Clarence Agee and Ida Clara Agee. He married Willene Wills Agee on December 25, 1942 and she preceded him in death on October 30, 2015.
Teamon graduated from Gordonsville High School in 1938. He was a lifelong farmer. Teamon was a member of the New Middleton United Methodist Church. Teamon and Willene enjoyed playing, singing, and listening to bluegrass and gospel music. He was a member of several county organizations and boards. Teamon loved square dancing and buck dancing, and won many awards for buck dancing throughout the years.
Mr. Teamon is survived by his Daughter and Son-in-Law: Joan Carol Agee Bryan and Harvey Dale Bryan of New Middleton, TN. Granddaughters: Melissa Carol (Jonathan) Clemons of Gordonsville, TN and Stacy Dale (Carl III) Reeves of Lebanon, TN. Two Great-Grandsons: Carl Neel Reeves IV, and Tyler Bryan Clemons.
Funeral Services for Mr. Teamon are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 2PM with Bro. Royce Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery.
Visitation with the Agee family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Friday from 3PM until 9PM and again on Saturday from 10AM until the time of the service at 2PM.
