TORRANCE, CALIF.- Mrs. Josephine Liljerath Thompson, 88, Redeondo Beach, Calif., died Tuesday 7 a.m., in a Torrance hospital of natural causes.
Born April 17, 1869, in Malmo, Sweden, to Eric P. and Marie Perrsen Liljerath. Came to U.S. in 1880 to Provo. Married Hans Christian Thompson Feb. 7, 1891. He died Jan. 20, 1944.
Survivors: three sons and two daughters, Saphus M. and Hans C.O., both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Anna Marie Gill, Mrs. Ella Marie Hansen, both Redondo Beach; John P., Los Angeles; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Saturday 2 p.m. at 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, where friends call Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday prior. Burial, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
