Mrs. Moody is a former resident of Apalachicola, FL. She passed away after a battle with lung cancer. During the Korean Conflict, Laura served in the Women’s Army Corps (WAC). She is predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Cleveland Alexander Moody, September 2014; her daughter, C. Lynne Stanford, at age 21; Her brothers, Leonard James Roberts of Roseville, MI and John Scott Nelson of Watertown, NY.
A graveside military funeral service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Friday, December 11, 2015, at 10 AM. Laura’s husband will also be interred at the cemetery.
