Rebecca P. Tate, 93 of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 20, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Tate.
She was retired from G.E. She was a long time member of Green Hill Church of the Brethren.
Surviving to cherish her memory: Daughter, Jane Spence and husband Tom; Son, Richard Tate and wife Belvia; Grandchildren, Jason Gearhart and wife Heather, Loren Mitchell and husband Michael; Great Grandchildren, Taylen Gearhart and Kemper Mitchell; Special Niece and Nephew, Bud and Susan Phleghar; and Other Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Blue Ridge Memorial Garden in Roanoke, VA.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem.
In lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to the Charity of Your Choice.
