Amber Berquist Caribou 89. Died 6-13-1988 at Ayer, MA., after a brief illness. She was born 2-9-1899 in Mars Hill, the daughter of Roger and Lydia Ann (MacPherson) Hawksley. She was educated in Mars Hill schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Groton, MA. She was predeceased by her 2 husbands, Earl Briggs and Grant Berquist. She is survived by a son, Vinal Briggs of Willimantic, CT., and a daughter, Doris Philbrook, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Burial Riverside Extension cemetery.
