Marilyn grew up in Hubbard and after she married Larry they lived in Whitten, Iowa. In 1984 they moved to Dallas, Texas until moving to Story City in 2012. Marilyn loved her family and enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren activities over the years. She enjoyed her friends and playing solitaire.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five brothers, Glen, Richard, Fred, Lee and Larry and a sister, Helen Roling.
