Melvin Jan Graham, 73, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, May 10th, 2012 in Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Services will be 12:00 PM Monday in the Road to Eternity Church with Reverend Dean Hall officiating. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Melvin was born January 28, 1939 at Longview, Texas the son of Albert Melvin and Lucille (Cary) Graham. He graduated from Duncan High School and was the owner of Mel Graham Construction. He was a member of the Duncan Home Builders Association and loved to restore old cars and fix up houses. He was a member of the Road to Eternity Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Brian Wayne Graham. Survivors include his son Chris Graham and his wife Robyn of Duncan; a sister Patricia McWhirter of Duncan; five grandchildren and a significant other Sharrion Taapken of Duncan. Pallbearers will be Bill Jones, Stan Booker, Brad Ramsey, Nathan Stallons, Michael Moore and Buddy Parnell. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Stroke association at www.americanheart.org or 10900-B Stonelake Blvd. Suite 320 Austin, Texas 78759.
