SHIRLEY -- Mark P. Harding, 54, of Shirley, died unexpectedly on Saturday morning, December 5, at Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer.

He was born in Worcester on October 19, 1961 a son of the late David I. and Martha A. (White) Harding. He was a 1980 graduate of South High School in Worcester and has resided in Shirley since 1990.

Mark had worked for the last 18 years as a mail handler at the Shrewsbury Post Office.

He was the President of the Board of Director's at the Shirley Rod & Gun club where he had been a member since 1991. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and sportsman and loved the outdoors. He and the family also enjoyed camping at Salisbury Beach and Searsport Maine.

He leaves his wife of 25 years, Kimberly A. (Greenleaf) Harding of Shirley; a son Ryan D. Harding and a daughter, Megan P. Harding both of Shirley; a brother, David K. Harding and his wife Claudia of Gales Ferry, CT; three sisters, Beth M. Kempton and her husband Mike of Martin, TN, Carol M. Parenteau of Webster and Lynn R. Harding-Smith and her fiancé Rick McGrail of West Boylston; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Barbara Greenleaf of Stoneham; a brother-in-law, Scott Greenleaf and his wife Melissa of Wakefield and several cherished nephews, nieces and cousins. In addition to his parents Mark was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Harding.

HARDING -- His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 11, at 11 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 14 Phoenix St., Shirley.

Burial will be in the Center Cemetery in Shirley.
