He was born January 24, 1925, in Donovan, Illinois, son of Leonard and Jane (Runnion) Morrison
Dale worked for thirty years as a lab technician for the Federal Milk Market Administration. Dale loved working with his hands fixing all sorts of things. His greatest joy was spending time with his family; he will be dearly missed.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marian (Berge); children Marla Morrison of Naperville and Bryn (Eric) Nelson of Batavia; grandchildren Zakary and Summer Nelson; three great grandchildren; brother Lowell Morrison of Grand Junction, Colorado; and dear nieces, nephews and friends.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, sister Isabel Locke, and brothers Ralph and Rex.
Funeral service will be held Monday, September 15, 2014, at 11:00 AM with visitation at 10:00 AM at Lily Lake Congregational Church, 44W188 Empire Road, Lily Lake, IL, Reverend Peter Akemann officiating.
A reception will follow the burial at Lily Lake Cemetery.
