Randall Scott Stewart 63 of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away Dec. 8th, 2015 at the University of Utah Hospital awaiting heart surgery.

Randy was well loved by everyone who knew him. He had a special way with people, calling everyone a friend. Randy made everyone he knew feel like they were the most important, and he was genuinely interested in what was happening in their lives.

Randy was a bar owner/manager, car salesman and worked as a carpenter with his father and brothers at Stewart Construction. He later worked with his dear friend K Dell Talbot (Mutt) until he retired when his health started to decline.

Randy reconnected with the love of his life, Kay Munk Chapman, in the spring of 2010. Together they supported each other through Randy's many health complications with love, laughter and devotion. Kay's daughters and grandchildren adored Randy and lovingly called him "Grandy." He was an incredible father and grandfather.

In November 1969, Randy married Terrie Lynn Hughes and with this marriage came a son, Troy Scott Stewart. Troy was the light of Randy's life and one of his very best friends.

Randy later married Laurie Moore, and he helped raise her children, Michelle (Missy) Krei and Nick Moore. Randy also helped raise Ashley, Amanda, Sidney and Chris Butikofer, children of Theresa Butikofer.

Randy is survived by his sweetheart Kay Munk Chapman; son, Troy Scott Stewart; grandson, Gaige Scott Stewart; brother, Curtis Steven (Katherine Stow) Stewart, brother, Jason Stewart, and sister, Sandy Johnson.

Randy also cherished and adored his nieces and nephews: Christian Stewart, Michelle Hill, Cameron Stewart and Josh Stewart. Other important people in Randy's life were Kathy Richards, Tracy Richards, Bart Richards, Carrie Smith and his aunt Cora Beth Peterson.

Randy was preceded in death by his father Carl E Stewart, mother Carol O Stewart; brother Patrick Stewart, and niece Jamie Stewart.

A celebration of Randy's life will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 19, 2015, at the Elks Lodge, 640 East Elva Street Idaho Falls, Idaho.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
