Sharon was a 1957 graduate of Carbon High School, Price, Utah, and had worked in housekeeping at Mennonite Friendship Communities. On June 3, 1966, she married Maurice Neil Griffin in Pueblo, Colo. He died Sept. 11, 1999.
She is survived by: their daughters, Karen Troyer (Andy) of Hillsboro, Mary Gardner of Hutchinson; stepchildren, Susan Rohr (Jeremiah) of St. Petersburg, Fla., Ron Griffin (Suzanne) of Topeka, and Doug Griffin (Niyme) of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Paul Leturgez (Ruth Ann) and Les Leturgez (Carol), both of Price, Utah; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; son-in-law, Brent Gardner; and a sister, Earlene Jensen.
Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. Fourth Ave., Hutchinson. Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at Hillsboro United Methodist Church, 905 E. D St., with the Rev. Morita Truman presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
