I have also been told a birth date of 9 Apr 1869, but they did not know the source. Her census records consistently match an 1868 birth year, matching the reported headstone transcription, with the 1900 Census saying Jan 1868. The date given of 27 Jan 1868 is seen on a lot of Ancestry trees, but again, with no documented source.

A friend of mine visited this cemetery years ago and transcribed the headstones. She said it stated:
"HENRY, CARRY 1868-1954"
