March 9,1935~April 29,2011

SKELTON, IDELL BOWMAN was born on March 9,1933 and went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 29,2011.She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Bruce Bowman; her husband Ernest "Red" Skelton; her sisters, Ethel, Margaret, Odell, Jackie, Bennie, and Bertha; and her brother, Ed. She leaves behind her brother, Raymond and sister Velma. Also, her 6 children; Jerry Hutchins (Sue), Debbie Cox, Brenda Perry, Patricia Connell (David), Sheila Glenn, and Craig McGuire. Her 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was born and raised in Leeds, Al. and worked for United Chair; She lived in Irondale with her husband and children. She will be truly missed by her family and many friends who thought of her as a beautiful soul who will live forever in eternity and we shall all see her again. Please join us in the celebration of her life with visitation Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Roebuck Chapel from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be Monday, May 2, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Roebuck Chapel with burial in Forest Crest Cemetery.
