Thomas Edward was born Dec. 2, 1928 in Ralston, PA, a son of the late Thomas and Nellie May (Molyneux) Holley. He married the former Margaret Miller on Dec. 7, 1957. They shared 58 wonderful years together and raised six children. In earlier years, Tom worked for Volkswagen. He later was employed as a laborer and mechanic at Blossburg’s Ward Foundry until retiring in 1994. Family and home were most important in Tom’s life. He was blessed with a strong work ethic and was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed camping. Tom was a life-member of Hillside Rod and Gun Club in Blossburg.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; children, Michael (Candice) Holley, Timothy Holley, Steven (Carol Sue) Holley, Kathy (Paul) Hemling, Robin (Jeff) Cross and Roxanna (Bud) Waltz; 12 grandchildren, Jason (Kayla) Hemling, Heather (Dave) Hemling, Elizabeth (Mike) Goodwin, Matthew (Whitney) Holley, Cody (Sidnei) Holley, Casey (Travis) Day, Alicia Davis, John and Missy Holley, Reba, Kelli, and William Waltz; five great-great grandchildren, Michael Goodwin, Thomas Landon, Levi Holley, Isabella Hemling and Joyce Landon; five siblings, Marion Reed, Betty Allis Costley, John, Roger and Harold Lowry; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Calling hours are 1 – 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10 at Zwicharowski Funeral Home, 314 Granger St., Blossburg. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Michele Somerville officiating. Burial will be in Arbon Cemetery in Blossburg. Share condolences at www.pepperfuneralhomes.com
