AnnaBelle Shelton, 94, of Beaumont, died Sunday, December 6, 2015. She was born on August 13, 1921, in Abbeville, Louisiana, to Agnes Julia Daigle Larpenter and Joseph Lawrence Larpenter, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. AnnaBelle was a member of Woodland Baptist Church, Beaumont.

AnnaBelle is survived by her children, Barbara Weeks, of Houston; Barry Shelton and his wife, Denise, of Federal Way, Washington; Laura Kridner and her husband, Stan, of Houston; and Marilyn Brown and her husband, David, of Orange; grandchildren, Kathy Arnold, Kelley Smith, Leslie Downs, Shahid Shelton Muhammad, Chris Shelton, Heather Brown, and Tarah Brown; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert A. Shelton; and son, Randy Shelton.

A gathering of Mrs. Shelton’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2015, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. The family would like everyone to join them for a reception at Woodland Baptist Church, 1860 West Lucas, Beaumont, following the service at the cemetery.
