"Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Trail called to see Mrs. Hezekiah Fetters on Sunday. Mrs. Fetters has been ill for the past year."


Obituary for Amanda Catherine Bennett Trail from the Daily Bedford Gazette of Tuesday, April 29, 1952:

"Mrs. Amanda Catherine Bennett Trail died Sunday at her son's home, where she lived, in Flintstone Route 1. Born November 3, 1875, she was the daughter of Rev. John Bennett and Mrs. Anna (Sowers) Bennett. In 1895, she married Everett McDonald Trail, who died August, 1941. Surviving are her son, Ralph M.; four brothers, Howard of Mercersburg; Edgar of Cumberland; Quinter of Flintstone, and Earl of Akron, Ohio; and four sisters, Mrs. Herman Morse, of Elgin, Illinois; Mrs. Ersula Jay, of Everett Route 1; Miss Mary Bennett of Artemas, and Mrs. William Peterson, of Denver, Colorado. Funeral services Wednesday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Christian Church. The Rev. Walter Twigg will officiate. Interment in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the home of Ralph M. Bennett. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Stewart Funeral Home, Everett."
