He is survived by his wife, Ilva; four children, Sally Roth of Bluffton, Michael (Dana) Short, Dianne (Ron) Lantz, and Bradley (Lisa) Short all of Archbold; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Doris (Andrew) King, Deloris (Marvin “Tex”) Wyse, and Evelyn (Wesley) Wyse all of Archbold.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Tom Roth; and two brothers, Dale and Willard “Bill” Short.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 4 PM at Central Mennonite Church with Pastors David Elkins and Regina Wenger officiating. Interment will precede in the Pettisville Cemetery. Friends may call at Central from 2:30-4 PM on Tuesday. The family suggests that memorials be given to Mennonite Central Committee or the Donor’s Favorite Charity.
