Mrs. Mary Twine Perry, 64, died at her home on West Eden Street at 5:45 o'clock Friday afternoon after a year's illness. A native of Perquimans County, she was the daughter of the late Joel N. and Hattie Churchill Twine. She lived in Edenton 44 years.
Surviving are her husband, W. S. Perry; three sons, William W. Perry, Merrill Perry and Lynn C. Perry, all of Edenton; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia P. Pacini of Norfolk, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a member of the Edenton Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Williford Funeral Home. The Rev. L. C. Chandler, pastor of the Macedonia Baptist Church, officiated and burial was in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were M. E. Parker, Thomas J. Jackson, Jr. J. P. Partin, Luther Parks, Percy Satterfield and John Oliver, Jr.
