John David Lindsey, 71, Memphis, died at his home in Memphis. He operated a dairy in Shelby County for a number of years and then worked as a carpenter until his retirement about ten years ago. He wa a member of Normal Church of Christ.
He leaves his wfe, Susie Lindsey, Memphis; three daughters, Mrs. Thurman Hopper, Tiplersville, Mrs. T.G. Morgan and Mrs. Herman Smith, Memphis; two sons, B.W. and Terry Lindsey, Memphis; his brother, Will Lindsey, Ripley; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Hopkins, Tiplersville, Mrs. Mary Smith, Falkner; nine grandchildren.
Burial was in Little Hope Cemetery.
