He is survived by his three daughters, Georgia Saucier (Bob); Alison Arnold (Larry); and Jamie Macheca (Johnny), and his six grandsons, Ellis, Mathew, Derek, Drake, Jacob and Jonathan. He is also survived by his sister, Betty K. Showalter and her seven children, Billy (Kim), Robby (Susie), Ricky (Laura), Michael (Vicki), Zippy (Pam), George (Tammy), Kay Franatovich, and numerous great nieces and nephews, their children and many extended family and friends.
Born in New Orleans, Mr. Kroeper was a longtime resident of Arabi, La. and was currently a resident of Lacombe, LA.
He graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1948. He received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in 1958 from Tulane University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 35 years of service.
Throughout the years he was an avid bowler and golfer. He had a generous heart and love for life and he will be greatly missed by those he left behind.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 9:30 AM until 1:00 PM followed by a Mass in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in St. Roch #1 Cemetery.
