Eric Matthew Jordan, 23, of Roanoke, Va., formerly of Richwood, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at his residence.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Richwood and he was a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Jordan; grandfather, Harry Jordan; maternal grandparents, John and Peg Niday; and uncle, Randy Niday.

Survivors include mother, Debbie Jordan of Richwood; paternal grandmother, Nora Jordan of Sandusky, Ohio; four sisters, Joy Smith of Richwood, Paula Coleman of Mt. Nebo, Lindsay Jordan of Richwood, and Beth Jordan of Bluefield; and two nieces, Katlyn Coleman and Emily Smith.

Funeral service will be Friday, Dec. 23, at 1 p.m. at Simons-Coleman Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Tim Skaggs officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Memorial Park, Richwood. Friends may call Friday from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
