Professional Hockey player. A native of Slovakia, he was a fourth round pick of the New York Islanders in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. A Left Winger, he spent the next three seasons after his selection in the Ontario Hockey League with the Sudbury Wolves and Sarnia Sting, scoring 18 goals and 30 assists in 153 games. He also represented Slovakia in the 2003 IIHF world under-18 championships and the 2004 IIHF world under-20 championship. He was killed when the car he was traveling in with fellow Slovakian hockey player Marcel Hanzel, was involved in an accident near the Slovak town of Krasnany.
