Dennis Dwyer passed away Friday, November 20th, just a few short weeks following his cancer diagnosis. Many of his children and Pat, were there with him, surrounding his bedside as he slipped away into the presence of his Savior, Jesus.

Dennis was born in Sacramento California. His father, Joe, was stationed there to serve in WWII. He lived all his younger years in Fargo, ND where he formed many life long friendships. Dennis joined the Marines in 1963 and served two deployments in Viet Nam.
He married Patty Dullea in 1969.

In these following years he has "set his hands" to many endeavors. He served in Aurora CO as a policeman. Farmed awhile as part of the Dullea family farm. Then drove a Yellow Freight truck for twenty-four years, retiring in 2000. Retirement didn't suit him. He quickly signed on for eight more years driving truck at new home construction sites.

Those "hands" toiled selflessly and tirelessly for others. He was an excellent mechanic,
and kept the vast numbers of family autos up and on the road. For his family, yes, but so often too for any others who asked his help.

He looked for any opportunity to fry up his famous pan fried potatoes. Sunday mornings, he'd be found bent over the stove cooking up a brunch for any who stopped by. If they had only a minute to stop, he'd offer to fix a plate for them to take along.

He was quick witted and could transform a down turned mouth in a split second into a smile. His grandchildren brought him his own countless joyous smiles.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph and mother, Loretta.
and by his nephew, Keith Dwyer.
These he has left behind will miss him every day.
