I have additional and correct information for you. Peter Dunevant was the son of Riley Dunevant and Jane Jackson of Darke County, Ohio. They were American, not Scottish, although likely of Scottish ancestry - his father was born in Virginia and his mother in South Carolina. Peter married his first wife Louisa Jane Mercer 4 March 1858 in Darke County. They were the parents of 7 children. They lived in Adams Township, Darke County, Ohio, at least through 1880. Peter is in St. Louis, Gratiot County, Michgian, in 1900. He married three more times. Mary Jenkins 10 March 1891; Elizabeth Doty 11 July 1895 and Emma Clymer 18 Aug 1904. He served as a private in Co. G, 60th Ohio Infantry during the Civil War.
